What do yall think about the way we did the racing order this past weekend @ Busco. I liked the idea of mixing it up to give people running the same bike in two classes more time to be ready, but I did feel there needed to be a change in the order besides what we did this weekend.

@ Busco the running order was
Lite
Super
Single
Twin
Outlaw
RUV

I think it would work better if it were
Twin
Lite
Super
Single
Outlaw
RUV

What do you all think?

I like the second choice you posted better!

Or what about moving the Outlaw class up a bit sooner too. I know a lot of people like seeing the bigger bikes too. And since they run last...everyone is always gone. If we are trying to keep the attention of the spectators...I think that maybe switching that Outlaw with the Single Cylinder class might be something different and keep the crowd there.

Example:

Twin
Outlaw
Lite
Super
Single
RUV

People like to see fast bikes, very true. However, I think they like seeing tight, fender to fender racing... I noticed alot of side by side racing in some of the small cc bikes. I know I really enjoyed watching the first class run...some of them boys were coming off the line, and putting on a great show. Then they ran tight, had some lead changes which kept the crowd entertained...

Charlie, the only time I noticed the crowd getting "bored" was when people were breaking belts, or getting stuck and I noticed you having to look for a recovery bike. There should be a bike at the staging lines that someone other than you operates, and the moment the race is over they need to be headed out to get them. You might even want to talk to Jack about putting a exit in turns 1 and 2 so if your closer to that end you could just "grab" them and pull them out the water quickly and get started with the next heat.
